According to multiple Korean and international outlets including SBS Biz, Star News, MK News, Chosun Ilbo, and Bloomberg, BTS is reportedly planning an ambitious world tour in 2026 consisting of around 65 shows — the largest in the group’s history.

Bloomberg reported that the tour is expected to begin in May 2026 and run for roughly eight months, with more than 30 dates planned across North America. Fans worldwide are viewing it as BTS’s long-awaited full-group comeback following the completion of all members’ military service.

However, HYBE and its subsidiary BigHit Music clarified to multiple outlets that ‘details regarding the new album and world tour schedule have not been finalized,’ emphasizing that the plans remain under internal discussion with no official announcement yet.

Star News reported that BTS is expected to release a new album in March 2026 ahead of the tour, while MK Economy noted that HYBE’s stock price rose more than 5% following the report, reflecting strong market anticipation for the group’s return.

Korea Daily and Moneycontrol cited Bloomberg saying the tour will span North America, Europe, Asia, and South America — marking BTS’s first major world tour since 2019’s ‘Love Yourself: Speak Yourself.’ Several outlets described it as the ‘largest global project in BTS’s career.’

Meanwhile, BTS recently launched ‘BTS Movie Weeks,’ re-releasing several past concert films alongside a new trailer titled ‘ARMY: Forever We Are Young,’ which Deadline described as ‘a celebratory warm-up for the group’s return and a tribute to the past decade of glory.’

Though official dates remain unannounced, global media broadly expect BTS to make a full-group comeback in 2026 and reignite the K-pop wave through this world tour. For fans, it represents not just a musical event but the symbolic beginning of ‘BTS Chapter 2.’
