As SEVENTEEN continues its group activities at a steady pace, the group has officially launched a new vocal sub-unit project. Comprised of DK and Seungkwan, the duo revealed the ‘Soyeon’ version official photos for their first mini album ‘Soyeogok’ in late December, signaling a creative direction that places vocal expression and emotional storytelling at the forefront, separate from the group’s main promotional track.

Both DK and Seungkwan have long served as key emotional anchors within SEVENTEEN’s vocal line. The title ‘Soyeogok,’ often described as ‘a love song sung at night (Serenade),’ frames the album around emotional moments that unfold between meeting and separation. Rather than relying on dramatic narratives, the project focuses on familiar emotional phases that many listeners can relate to.
