EXO’s SUHO achieved a three-award sweep at the 2025 Korea Grand Music Awards (2025 KGMA), securing the title of Best Male Solo Artist. He also claimed the fan-voted BIGC Global Star Award and earned a spot in the Best Music 10 lineup, reaffirming his standing as one of the year’s most recognized male solo performers.

Held on November 15 at Inspire Arena in Yeongjongdo, Incheon, the ceremony was hosted by NATTI of KISS OF LIFE and actress Nam Ji-hyun. The moment SUHO’s name was announced by Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung, who personally presented the award, added symbolic weight to his Best Solo Artist win.

On stage, SUHO shared, “Receiving this award from senior Sooyoung makes it even more meaningful. I’m truly grateful.” He added, “I ended up receiving three awards today. I honestly came with a light heart, but now it feels much heavier,” expressing thanks to everyone at SM Entertainment.

He then expressed heartfelt gratitude to EXO-L: “I will share this joy with the members and dedicate this award to EXO-L. I truly love you and thank you.” SUHO emphasized that what he and EXO can offer in return is always through music, performance, and the stage.

SUHO also shared updates on EXO’s upcoming activities: “EXO’s comeback is a little over a month away, and we want to show everything we’ve prepared.” Korean outlets report that EXO will hold a fan meeting in December at the same venue, with their eighth full album in its final production stage.

SUHO’s fourth mini album, “Who Are You,” released in September, also gained strong international traction. The album topped iTunes Top Albums charts in 20 regions—including Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Russia, Thailand, Brazil, Finland, and Indonesia—and entered the Top 10 in 30 regions worldwide, further strengthening his solo discography and market presence.

The 2025 KGMA is hosted by Ilgan Sports (Edaily M) with support from the Incheon Metropolitan City and the Incheon Tourism Organization. Award results are determined through data from Hanteo Chart, Genie Music, FLO, and Bugs, alongside expert evaluation. KT ENA served as the official broadcaster, while TikTok Live streamed the event globally, with Hulu Japan airing it live in Japan.
