Choi Woo-shik & Jung So-min Begin a ‘Fake Newlywed’ Romance in *Uju Marry Me?* Premiering Tonight

SBS’s new Fri-Sat rom-com *Uju Marry Me?* premiered on Oct 10, starring Choi Woo-shik and Jung So-min as a pair who pretend to be newlyweds to claim a luxury home prize — only to find real feelings developing during their 90-day fake marriage.
Designer Yu Me-ri (Jung So-min) faces betrayal and a housing scam before winning a 50-billion-won villa that can only be claimed by a married couple. She asks Kim U-ju (Choi Woo-shik), a pastry-heir who shares her ex’s name, to pose as her husband — and their business deal slowly turns into romance.
Choi Woo-shik plays the cool-headed heir Kim U-ju, while Jung So-min embodies the ‘survival-mode designer’ Me-ri with her signature rom-com charm. Their first-ever collaboration has already drawn praise for off-the-charts chemistry and adorable visual contrast.
Supporting roles include Bae Na-ra as the sharp-eyed observer Baek Sang-hyun, Shin Seul-gi as U-ju’s friend and secret crush Yoon Jin-kyung, and Seo Beom-joon as Me-ri’s flippant ex-fiancé — also named Kim U-ju — turning the story into a five-way romantic tangle.
Directed by Song Hyun-wook (*Another Miss Oh*) and written by Lee Ha-na (*Cunning Single Lady*), the 12-episode series mixes humor and heart-fluttering romance, earning media buzz as ‘the most addictive autumn love comedy.’
